The ulamas are involved in delivering talks in the various Rohingya settlement areas – particularly in Klang Valley and Penang. Owing to financial constraints the ulamas has not been able to deliver regular talks in various other parts of the country as planned.
The talks covered the following topics:-
• Fiqh (obligatory prayers, fast, zakat etc)
• Oneness (Tauhid) (faith based on ahlul sunnah waljamaah)
• Usulludin (teaching and interpretation of the Quran and the traditions of the Prophet (Hadith)
• Morality (uswatun hasanah, good behaviour, noble values based on the example of the lives of the Prophet and the Caliphs)
• Talks held in conjuction with the ascension of the Prophet to paradise (Isra’ Me’raj), the Prophet’s birthday, the Muslim New Year (Awal Muharram) and deepening sessions (tazkirah) held during the fasting month of Ramadan or after the Asar or Maghrib prayers).
